Doctor Who Photography Strategy
Doctor Who is the longest running sci-fi show in the world. With the arrival of the 13th incarnation of the Doctor, Jodie Whittaker, our brief was to elevate the episode photography for the brand. We commissioned 6 photographers working across 8 months of filming in 3 countries, resulting in photography used across all global platforms including video on demand (iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon, Sony and other partners), social, press coverage and merchandise.
Over 10,000 downloads from UK press alone
The photography gained significant press coverage, with over 10,000 downloads and 23 exclusive features in the launch weeks of the series. Across social, image posts reached up to 1.2 million people, 61.4K likes and 1,076,273 impressions per post.
